The security service systematically exposes traitors and collaborators, as well as their accomplices, who are trying to destabilize the internal situation in Ukraine in wartime conditions.
As a result of comprehensive measures in Kyiv, the administrator of the pro-Kremlin Telegram channel of the enemy propagandist Tetiana Montyan, who publicly justifies the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, was exposed.
Being on the territory of the aggressor country, she remotely involved her long-time associate and former party member in informational and subversive activities against Ukraine.
He turned out to be a 46-year-old resident of the capital of Ukraine, who has personally known Montyan since 2014, and later even ran for the Kyiv City Council of the 8th convocation from her political force.
After the start of the full-scale invasion, he actively helped the collaborator to “promote” her pro-Russian Telegram channel, which has almost half a million subscribers.
It was established that the attacker “moderated” discussions in the comments of the Internet resource and blocked users among Ukrainian patriots.
He also “filtered” posts that do not meet the “criteria” of Kremlin narratives or do not support Montian’s criminal activities.
In addition, the person involved actively spread destructive content on his own pages of popular social networks.
In his “publications” he denied the involvement of the Russian occupiers in airstrikes on civilian objects in Ukraine and spread fakes about the situation at the front.
Linguistic expertise initiated by the SBU confirmed the facts of criminal actions of the person involved.
During searches of his residence, computers and mobile phones with evidence of illegal activity were found.
So far, the investigators of the Security Service have informed him of the suspicion.
An investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime.
