This Saturday, March 11, a presentation of the book “Reconstruction of Khreschatyk in the collections of architectural graphics: a street we don’t know” will be held in the “House of the Metropolitan” museum on the territory of the “Sofia Kyivska” national reserve.
The press service of the reserve says that the book appeared as a result of fruitful creative cooperation between scientists of the reserve and the well-known researcher of Kyiv architecture Semyon Shirochyn.
“The pages of the book reveal the specifics of the organization and two-stage holding of the competition for the reconstruction of Khreschatyk, as well as the specifics of the post-competition design of individual buildings on the main street of the capital,” says Sofia Kyivska’s message.
During the presentation, guests will also be able to see a number of original works of architectural graphics from the stock collection of Sofia of Kyiv.

Exit with a ticket to the territory of the reserve. That is, for an adult – 120 hryvnias, for a child/student – 50 hryvnias.
