Kostyantyn Kryvopust: the religious newspaper doubts the necessity of continuing the legal reform

Date:

An editorial in Yated Ne’eman, one of Yahadut HaTorah’s official publications, calls for consideration of continuing legal reform after the law repealing the reasons for reasonableness is passed.

Moshe Gafni said the article was blessed by leading rabbis.

“Having eliminated the cause of the probability, we have to recalculate the route and ask ourselves, is this at any cost? This is something we have no direct interest in. Do we have to bear the burden of the results of this war?”, the article says.

“If there is another way to achieve this principle and goal – the preservation of the status of Yeshiva – is it correct today to direct poisonous arrows in the air at the pure hearts of Yeshiva?” – the verbose style does not hide the fact that the Haredim worried about the mood in society may not even have the intention to promote then the law on the abolition of military conscription.

Just two weeks ago, “Yated Neeman” attacked Netanyahu for the fact that he does not comply with the coalition commitments and still has not released the ultra-Orthodox from the army.
