Musical accompaniment and video communication: a modern obstetric department was opened in Kyiv maternity hospital No. 3

Date:

The department was created according to the European model.

A new obstetric department has opened in the Kyiv City Maternity Hospital No. 3, the Department of Health Protection of the KMDA reported.

It has nine comfortable delivery rooms, two state-of-the-art operating rooms, equipped with equipment that gives doctors access to innovative technologies.

For example, a digital C-arch X-ray machine with a high-frequency generator. Among other things, it allows you to take high-resolution images in the operating room in real time, and if necessary, quickly adjust the course of the operation.

There are opportunities during the operation to organize a video bridge for the patient with relatives who could not, but wanted to be there.

A woman can also choose musical accompaniment for the birth of her child or ask doctors to use the French technique of “crystal flow” – bathing the baby after a cesarean section.

Kyiv City Maternity Hospital No. 3 opened in June 1981. It has 10 departments that provide assistance to women with gynecological problems and expectant mothers.

“KMPB3” serves women of Sviatoshyn district (consultation and treatment of gynecological problems, and pregnancy monitoring), and accepts all women of the city for childbirth, regardless of their place of residence.

Address: str. V. Kuchera, 7
