The President’s Office condemned the “Oscar” ceremony because of the award for the film about Navalny

Date:

Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, accused the organizers of the Oscar film award of double standards. The official wrote about this on his Twitter page.

“If “Oscar” is outside of politics, how then to understand the documentary manifesto “Navalny”, in which domestic Russian politics pours over the edge? If “Oscar” is outside the context of the war in Ukraine and the mass genocide of Ukrainians, then why constantly talk about humanism and justice?” – wrote Podolyak.
